1. Galaxy A9 (2018) launching - The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is all set to hit the Indian market. The top-end Galaxy A smartphone will be launched in the country on Tuesday, November 20 at an event in Gurgaon. Samsung India is sending out media invites for the event which starts at 12 pm. The device will be sold exclusively by retailer Flipkart.
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A9 (2018) in Malaysia last month with the tagline “4X Fun”, highlighting it as the world’s first smartphone to sport four rear cameras. The phone was launched with a price tag of 599 euros (approx. ₹51,300). While there’s no word yet on Indian pricing, various reports suggest it to be a sub-₹40,000 phone.

2. Google Contacts app adds dark mode - Google has been slowly rolling out dark themes for its apps since the summer 2018 launch of its new Material Design guidelines at Google I/O, and now the Google Contacts app is getting a dark theme as well.
Contacts was also one of the first apps to get Google’s new version of material design. The update is part of Contacts version 3.2. Users who want want to force the update can download the APK, though they should make sure to restart the app once they’ve downloaded the AKP to initiate the change.

3. Google Users report flickering screen - Some users have noticed that the issue started taking place after the November security update. Others have suggested that the screen flickering is an issue caused by the ‘Ambient Display’ feature and that turning the functionality off fixes the issue.
One Redditor, however, reported that he returned his Pixel 3 after it was doing the same thing. The user claims that Google replaced the device because it’s a hardware issue. Either way, Google’s new Pixels might be more like the Pixel 2 series than we first thought.

4. Android 9 Pie update for the Moto X4 - The Moto X4 is now receiving the update to Android 9 Pie in India. It comes over-the-air as a 1.1GB download, and once you install it you'll be on build number PPW29.69-17. If you haven't gotten the update notification yet, then you could manually check for it through Settings. Note though that it's likely to be a phased rollout, so doing that might not actually work. Still, the good news is that the update is now on its way to every single Moto X4 unit sold in the subcontinent, so you should have it within the next few days. Motorola also promised Android Pie updates

5. Vivo Y95 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 - Expanding its already sizable mobile portfolio even further, Vivo has launched a new smartphone in the Philippines. Dubbed Vivo Y95, the smartphone is priced at 13,999 Philippine Pesos, or approximately Rs 19,200. It comes in two color options – Starry Night Black and Aurora Red – and is available through retail stores, as well as Vivo’s online partners in the Philippines. However, there’s no word when the smartphone will be launched in other regions around the globe.
